About the role
Keep a fast-moving deep-tech startup running smoothly. You will work directly with the CEO and CTO, handling the operational, administrative, and HR responsibilities that let the technical team stay focused on building. This is a generalist role for someone who is highly organised, discreet, and energised by making things happen behind the scenes at a company that matters.
Requirements
- Proven experience in executive assistance, office management, or operations — ideally in a startup or research environment
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills; comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- HR coordination: onboarding, employment contracts, leave tracking, coordination with external HR/legal advisors
- Calendar and travel management for executive leadership
- Confident written and spoken English; able to draft professional correspondence independently
- High level of discretion with confidential information
Strong plus
- German (professional or native level) for local administration in Switzerland
- Experience with Swiss employment law, work permit administration, or ETH/university spin-off environments
- Familiarity with grant administration, investor relations coordination, or financial reporting support
- Background in procurement, supplier management, or lab equipment purchasing
